Kuopio in early spring

I arrived back in Kuopio earlier today and I have begun settling in to the apartment that I’ll be using for the next month. The apartment is just down the hall from my office in the School of Pharmacy. My room itself is a bit spartan and there are two other apartments in the unit. I have no neighbors this weekend so I have free range of the shared spaces (bathroom and kitchen).

The campus has a large lake that is frozen. Today’s high temperature was about 40F – it will be below freezing tonight. I plan on exploring some tomorrow as I adjust to the time change.

I should try to get some rest – it’s been a long day.
